Validity of L visa and stay duration for Vietnamese citizen

I am traveling to China in this September and gonna stay there over 15 days. Do I have to obtain double entry L type? Can I extend L type within mainland PRC? How much for the extendable fee?
What is the best time to apply L type in Hcmc?

Uyen, a single entry L type with 30-day duration is enough for your trip. Or after you enter, you can apply for an extension 7 days earlier before your L type expires. It costs CNY168 for the extension.
You are advised to apply for it one month earlier before your trip.
