About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72h Visa-free entry

Hello, I will enter Shanghai with a Chinese entry permit (single entry), stay there for a week and then travel further to Honkong. My return leg is Hongkong - Shanghai - Frankfurt, Germany. Will I be able to apply for the 72h free entry on my "second" transit entry to Shanghai, PRC? I am a German citizen.
Many thanks!
Friederike
