About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

is 72 hour transit strict?

I have a flight from Seoul landing at PEK on Wed at 8pm, the next flight to Zurich from PEK airport I have on sunday at 6:45am. Is it possible to make use of free transit visa?

Hello there! Your layover time in Beijing is more than 72 hours, I’m afraid you cannot use the free transit. You need to apply for a transit G type or tourist L type in advance of your trip.
