About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

10 hour layover in Shanghai can I use this 72 hour pass

I'm flying BKK-shanghai-ORD and we have a 10 hour layover in Shanghai and we would like to see the city for a few hours can we use this 72 hour pass?
