About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour transit

Can we aus/nz fly bangkok - shanghai - phuket and recieve 144 hour visa?

Or do we have to fly bkk - shanghai - somewhere else - phuket?

Hi there, I'm afraid you have to fly bkk - Shanghai - somewhere else - Phuket. If you fly from Shanghai to Phuket directly, you return to Thailand and it's the same as the country of your departure.

Thanks, we have booked flights so will have to fly down to hong kong or something
