About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Leaving on a 72 hour visa?

Hello, I am flying into Guangzhou for 72 hours from nz with an onward flight to London. I would like to skip the second part of my flight to London and instead head to Hong Kong and fly home from there. Will they let me leave china for Hong Kong on my 72 hour free transit seeing as I won't be returning?

Yes, you are allowed to leave for HK by using the 72 hour free transit because when speaking of the 72 hour policy, HK is regarded as a third region. In this case, don’t worry! You can enjoy free transit in Guangzhou.
