About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Tourist visa - required documents

Our family (husband, me and 4 yr daughter) wish to travel Hong Kong Guangzhou and Beijing for a visit in April. I would like know what are the documents required. Do we need the invitation letter. If need how to get it? tnx

As for HK travel, you need to prepare those documents including copy of the passport, the application form and a passport-style photo, flight itinerary, your financial support proof, hotel reservation, and travel plan to HK.

As for Guangzhou and Beijing travel, you need to provide your passport and copy of its data page, the application form and a passport-style photo, a letter from the local travel agency, an invitation letter from Chinese Tourist Bureau, and your recent 3-month bank statement, as well as your travel itinerary. You can find a travel agency to get the invitation letter for you.
