Visa validity on old indian passport

Dear Sir/Madam,

I've a valid multiple entry business M type with validity till 22'nd April 2016. I've already traveled once to PRC on same M type. Recently I got my passport renewed and now I have an new passport. Is my M type on old passport still valid if I carry both the new and old passport (with Chinese M type)? The credentials on both the passports are same and passport is simply renewed for next 10 years.

It's possible that you can take both passports to enter. However, the regulations in all ports are not the same. Some may insist that you get a new entry permit on your passport. You should confirm this with the embassy or border inspection office to play safe.
