About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

international-international flight with eastern airline then transfer to shanghai airline at PVG.

1. Do I need to recheck baggage at PVG?
2. Where/how can I check in to get a new boarding pass with SH airline within the airport?

1. Are you the 'Through Checked-in Passenger'? If yes, you don't need to collect the luggage. If not, you need to collect them and recheck again.
2. For Through Checked-in Passenger, just confirm onward boarding pass at International transfer Area.
If you are just nomarl international passenger, you need to get the Boarding Pass and recheck the luggage in the Transfer Hall. After that, go to international concourse on 3F.

Thank you for your reply. How would I know if I'm a through check-in passenger or a normal international passenger? Will it say on the ticket somewhere? Or I have to ask someone?

As I know, if you hold thorugh ticket, ur boarding passes have the same number or something. Anyway, if you book the ticket through airline, it is best to consult them in case.
