About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Is a two hour layover long enough for an international-international transfer?

I have a two hour layover in PVG (arriving from Toronto, Canada, departing to Bangkok). I arrive in terminal 2 and my flight departs from terminal 1. Will two hours be enough time to get through customs and immigration, get to terminal 2, check in and board? Also, will I have to go through security/customs in both terminals? This may have an obvious answer but I've never traveled internationally so I'm completely lost. Thanks!

1. Yes, generally speaking, you can make this transfer in two hours. But do hurry up and do not waste time.
2. If you are LX, VS, NZ, LH Airline Passengers, the transfer procedures are:
Flight Arrival – Confirm Onward Boarding Pass On Transfer Counter – Check-in – Quarantine – Immigration – Security Check – International Concourse – Boarding
If you belong to other airlines, the transfer procedures are:
Flight Arrival – International Arrival Access – Joint Inspection – Quarantine – Immigration – Luggage Claim – International Arrival Hall – Go To 3F For Boarding
Don't worry. You can easily find the correct direction because there are many detailed English signs at the airport.
