Emergency visa for main land china

I have to go to PRC from the US because of the death of my father inlaw who is a chinese national. What would be the fastest way to get it taken care of so that I can be there for his funeral.

Hi, Bret. I think you have two options. The first one is to use the urgent service and apply for it from the PRC embassy or consulate. If you can get the approval, the processing only takes one working day.

The second option is to get a copy of your father-in-law's death certificate, which can be issued by a hospital. And try to get a VOA at the entry port with it. However, you don't have a 100% chance to get it.
