About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Apply for chinese student visa in Seoul if currently on business M type

I'm South African and was a student in 2014 but then changed to business M type. I want to go back to school now but can I apply for short term 6 month student X type in Seoul or do I have to do it back home? How bout a one year student program?

If you don’t have residence permit in South Korea, it may be difficult for you to apply from there. But it’s worth a try.

Spoke to a fellow South African living in china who had z type and went to Korea and got a student visa. So I guess it's possible
