About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello I am Ukrainian citizen but now in Kazakhstan, I am planing to go to Shanghai next week

my Trip will be 1) ASTANA-URUMCHI-SHANGHAI;
3 days in Shanghai then:
2) SHANGHAI-MOSKOW;
3) MOSKOW-ASTANA;
Is this allowed? Or 1st flight should be direct without any transit?

Dear, both of your trip are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit because you stop in two Chinese cities.
But according to the 72 hour policy, you can only transit in ONE Chinese city. So you’d better apply for a transit G type or tourist L type in advance of your trip.
