Well, from East Station, walk north along West Dawang Road for about 0.6 mile to Dawang Road Metro Station. Then, take metro line 1 to Tiananmen East Railway Station, Exit D. Walk west for about 200 yards to the square. From West Station, take metro line 9 to Military Museum. Then, change to metro line 1 to Tiananmen East Railway Station. Then walk there.
