Is 2.5 hours quick enough to land in Hong Kong and board a plane back to Shanghai?

I need to do a quick visa run on my multi entry visa. I've found some good flights but I land in Hong Kong at 11:00am and my flight back to Shanghai is at 13:35pm.

I've never been to Hong Kong airport so I don't know if this is possible to get from departures to arrivals.

Can anyone offer any advice

I hope you are holding the through ticket. If so, 2.5h can be totally enough. After landing at HKIA, just follow the directional sign to departures level for boarding gates. And you have to go through the security screening.
