About:Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

Scheduling trip to Jade Dragon Mountain

1. Can we buy all the tickets in Lijiang Town the day before or we have to buy it when we get to the mountain?
2. Are there taxis on the way back or should we get a taxi for the whole day?
3. If we go up to the mountain on the ropeway and walk up to the peak and down, will we have time to go to the impressions show?

1. As I know, the tickets can be bought one day before in the town. At the Ticketing Window of the ancient town or the attractions, you can directly get the ticket for the mountain. Buying entrance ticket on the spot is also available. It is quite easy!
2. There are more private cars than official taxis for the way back. For your sake, I suggest you hire a car or taxi for a round trip (the driver will wait for you during the visit), which costs CNY200-300.
3. Generally, if you depart early in the morning and hire a car to go, you may catch the last show at 14:00. But if during peak season, many more tourists hike to the peak, which may spend a lot of time. U may not catch the show under this circumstance.

Thank you for your reply, looks like if we want to go walking around the mountain or skiing etc, do the show another day. From what I heard it's not very far at all right. Anyway thank you for your reply.
