About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Hello, I am Mai from Vietnam. Now I am studying in Canada. Do I need to apply for HK Visa?

I will travel back to Vietnam and I have to layover about 15 hours in HK. Do I need to have HK entry permit for layover? What if I want to leave the airport ? Thank you

Mai, you need to apply for a transit entry permit for your 15-hour layover in HK and you should apply for it in advance of your trip. Once you get the transit entry permit, you can certainly leave the airport.
