About:How to Buy Tickets

Train travel Hong Kong to Guangzhou then Guangzhou to Shanghai

Please advise the best purchase advice for daytime high speed rail travel Hong Kong to Guangzhou on April 15 then same for Guangzhou to Shanghai on April 20 2016, night travel is an option. Attending the Canton fair so any advice re stations here is appreciated.

There are usually about 12 rides available a day from Hung Hom, HK to Guangzhou East, the trip is about 2 hours. There is only one overnight ride on April 20 from Guangzhou east to Shanghai, Z100 (18:12/10;22+) and there are still some hard sleeper available. You can input the cities and date for both trip and see the schedule.
