About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I use stopover 72 hour visa transit exemption?

Good afternoon,
I am interested in visiting Shanghai region after attending a Trade Show.
I have the following itinerary holding Spanish passport - Madrid-Dubai-Shanghai / Shanghai-Dubai-Madrid. Can I travel wihout entry permit if I retur to Spain from Dubai?
If not, can I qualify if I change my intinery and return Shanghai/Hong Kong 2 hour transit and Hong Kong-Dubai-Madrid?
Thanks,
Victor Blanch

Victor, if you return to Spain from Dubai after visiting Shanghai, you can't use the 72h free transit service.

The changed itinerary qualifies for the free transit polciy.
