144 hour free visa

Good afternoon, I am interested in visiting Shanghai region after attending a Trade Show. I am planning this itinerary  Madrid-Dubai-Shanghai / Shanghai-Dubai-Madrid. Can I travel wihout VISA if I retur to Spain from Dubai? If not, can I apply for 144 hour free visa if I reture Shanghai/Hong Kong and Hong Kong-Dubai-Madrid?Thanks, Victor BlanchSpanish passport

Dear Victor, if you fly from Dubai to Shanghai and then to Dubai, transit visa is required when you enter Shanghai. However, if you fly from Dubai to Shanghai and then to Hongkong with confirmed onward ticket, you are qualified for 144hr free transit.
