About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit

I am 87 years old, female and childless and Singapore citizen. would like to emigrate to guangzhou.

I was a second wife of my late husband and followed him to Singapore and lived here for almost 50 years. With the passing of my husband, I lived alone without dependants. I am in contact with my late husband's family and his children and grandchildren. They urged me to emigrate back to Guangzhou since I am alone in Singapore . After much thought, I decided to go back for good. I am a citizen of Singapore, now seeking permission to emigrate to Guangzhou. My family in Guangzhou welcome me and will finance my living expenses in Guangzhou. What must I do? I am making a trip to Guangzhou in Mar 16 for 3 months. I would like to do the necessary documentation there if possible.
Hope to hear from you on the guidelines.

Yip, considering what you said, it’s almost impossible for you to apply for permanent residence, so you are advised to apply for a Q1 or S1 type. And you need to provide the relationship certificate. You may need to provide your marriage certificate and your late husband’s family need to provide the birth certificate.
However, if your application for Q1 or S1 type is denied, I’m afraid you can only apply for Q2 or S2 type.
