About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

beijing, HK and shanghai

I'm portuguese and I plan to arrive Beijing - visit HK and fly back to 2 cities in Mainland (Suzhou and Shanghai, and fly back home).

Do I need only 1 entry or double-entry? Since I arrive in Beijing - then HK - and back to Shanghai?
I know I dont need any permit for HK.

thanks

Rute, so you will fly from Portugal to Beijing and then fly to HK? Then for your stay in Beijing, if the time is not over 72 hours, you don't need the entry permit. If the time is longer, you should apply for an L type.

A few days later, you will go from HK to Shanghai and Suzhou and get back to Portugal? In this case, you are eligible for the 144-hour free transit in Shanghai. So it's possible that you don't need an entry permit this time either.

tks for your answer. I already have L type but I totally forgot this double/multiple entry :(

My plan was to arrive in Beijing (stay 3 days) - then HK (for 4 days) - then visit my father in Suzhou - and back to my country.

Since I already have the L type, I cannot change it. I rather should change the itinerary in China.

Well, don't bother with it. It's fine. So you can travel to more places and make a more flexible travel.
