Hi,we arrive by Cruiseship at Wusong Cruise terminal

and fly the same morning back to Amsterdam Pudong International Airport.
1) Are we illegible with the visa-free transit?
2) What's the safest (and cheapest) method of transportation to go to the airport? Can you recommend websites where we can book the transit?

Yvonne, as for the first question, you qualify for the free transit as long as your transit time is less than 144 hours.
For your second question, I think the cheapest method of transportation is to take bus first and then change to the Airport Shuttle Bus. You don’t need to book the transit online because you can apply for it after getting off from the cruise ship.

Hi Henry,
1) Thank you for your response. I called the CVASC in The Hague and contacted the cruise company but neither confirm I am eligible for a free transfer. Your answer is what I concluded through browsing the web. Thanks so much.
2) Considering the transfer:we will be a bit in a hurry when we come from the ship because our plane leaves at 12.00hrs. Do you know if it is easy to catch a taxi in front of the cruise terminal?
3) If we go by bus as suggested: which bus should we take to get to the airport?
Thanks again!
Kind regards from Y. Rooms

(1)You are welcome.
(2) It’s easy to catch a taxi from there, but you may need to queue for a little while.
(3) If you take bus, after getting off the ship, you should walk to the Baoyang Road Coach Station to take bus no. 952 to People’s Square; and then walk to East of Yan’an Road Middle Zhejiang Road to take airport shuttle bus line 5 to the airport. It will take 4 hours or so.

As for international flights, you are advised to go to the airport 2 to 3 hours earlier before your flight. If you are pressed for time, you’d better take a taxi and it usually takes about an hour.
