About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Train from Hong Kong to Shanghai, a visa required?

I am traveling from Hong Kong to Shanghai by overnight train and then flying from Shanghai to Kuala Lumpur 5 days later. Will I need an entry permit or do I qualify under the 144 hour free transit arrangements.

Paul, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit, so you don’t need an entry permit.
