About:China Visa

I can't find info on how to apply and I am at a loss for the Visa. Please help me.

We are going on a tour all over China including Hong Kong for 3 weeks. I have the application for the mainland of China only. If I can't send it in, where or how do I get it to them and who does it for me? How do I pay? It says not to do it by hand so I guess I scan it and fill it out. What is my Citizenship number? What family members do I list? Is that just who is traveling with me or my family from home? This seems to be so mysterious with no place to get info. Thanks for any help you can give me.

1. Hi there! You should submit it to the consulate general of PRC and the area you live should belong to the consular district of the consulate general of PRC. May I know where you live so that I can tell you which consulate you should submit your application to? If you cannot go there in person, you can entrust someone else to do it for you.
2. You should pay for it upon collection of your passport. You can pay by credit card (Visa and Master card only), money order, cashier’s check or company check.
3. In regard of the Citizenship number, you can fill the social security number or driver license number. You should type your answer on the application form, not scanning it.
4. Family members don’t refer to who will travel with you. It refers your family from home. You can list out the major family members (spouse, children or parents).
