About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Sydney to Shanghai and back to Sydney within 72 hours

Can I apply 72 hour visa in Shanghai if I travel from Sydney to Shanghai direct flight then fly back to Sydney within 72 hours? Thanks!

Wai, if so, you cannot use the 72 hour free transit because according to the policy, after transit in a Chinese city, you should fly to a third country or region, but you just fly back to the one you depart.
