About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Do I need a visa to HK?

I am an Indian visiting Hong Kong with my family. Do I need to apply for entry permit in india or will I get it on arrival? Secondly my son's passport is valid till Feb 2017. What is the validity of the passport required to visit HK & China..?

Sumit, Indian passport holders can enter HK freely for a stay of no more than 14 days. So if you go there for less than 14 days, you don’t need an entry permit. If it’s longer than 14 days, you should apply for an entry permit in advance and cannot get it upon arrival.
As for the validity of passport, it should have at least 6-month remaining validity when you apply for the entry permit to HK or mainland PRC.
