steps in getting the visa

Gd day, i need your help!im applying for a Chinese tourist L type from Trinidad. I'm wondering what are the steps in gettin it. i understand that i have to drop in the application with my passport & pic..but do i attach other documents to the application like my confirmed flights & hotel reservations, job letter, bank statement or do i send in the application alone..do i send in my passport with the application? When and where at what point in time i make payment? Please help me asap as im traveling next month!!..and my pasport expires in Sept (5 months validity ) do You think that would be a problem?

Dear, you should submit all the required documents along with the application form. You should also submit your passport. Usually, when you pick up your passport, you pay. The remaining validity of your passport should be at least 6 months when you apply for it. So if it has 5-month validity, I’m afraid you should renew your passport first.
