question about same day turnaround to Macau and back to china after 15 days stay

My Singaporean parents are visiting me (who is on work permit) in Guangzhou. They won't have any visa and can stay for 15 days. But they are planning to stay longer. On the 15th day, can they travel to macau and come back to Guangzhou on the same day so that they get a fresh 15 days extension stay in Guangzhou?

Dear, in principle, they can do that. But in real practice, they are not advised to do that because the immigration officers may doubt their intention. They’d better stay several days in Macau and then go back to Guangzhou.

the rules are the same. You need to exit before 15 days or on the 15 days. Once you exit you are free to come back again and the cycle are the same again
