About:Ferry of Shekou Port, Shenzhen

Access to ferry terminal

I will be flying into Hong Kong and staying overnight in Hotel near to HK International Airport. Next morning I need to catch ferry to Shenzhen. Can I gain access to the ferry terminal at the airport without having a flight to catch? Can you get through immigration at the airport without having to present a flight ticket in order to get access to the ferry terminal?

No, you cannot take the ferry from Skypier in the next morning because it is an enclosed route. Passengers have to show the intraday airline tickets. Once you go through the immigration, you cannot take the ferry from HKIA.
So you need to take direct ferry from HK-Macau Ferry Terminal and arrive at Shekou Port. From the airport, you can take direct shuttle bus no.A11. The bus takes around 45 mins with the fare of 40 HKD per person. The ferry schedules are 09:00, 11:30, 13:15, 15:30, 18:00 and 20:30. It takes around an hour on the way. The ticket fare is about 145 HKD per person.
