Have the best of Yangshuo & Longji

I understand that Nov/Dec in YS are mostly sunny days and clear skies, so great to explore. However, by Nov the Longji terrace will be dried out. On some website, it suggests that early May would be best to see the sparkling waterlogged field. But May/Jun also seems to be the wettest month. But I want to go in the month where there are more sunny days but not so many rainy days yet the Longji terrace is irrigated with water as that would look beautiful as it sparkles in the sun. Which period of that month (early, mid or late month) would be best?
