British National applying for China L visa in Japan

Hi! I am a British National sightseeing in Japan for 9 days. However I also plan to make a journey to China directly from Japan before returning back to the UK. I want to ask if I will have enough time to apply for a China L visa as I am only in Japan for a week. Which place in Japan has the quickest processing time?

Richard, usually, after you submit your application, it will take 4 working days for the whole process. If you choose the express service or rush service, it only takes 2 working days and 1 working day separately.
No matter where you apply from, it takes the same time for the process. But if you find a travel agency to do it for you, it may be quicker.
By the way, if you just plan to visit Shanghai, Jiangsu or Zhejiang, and stay there for less than 144 hours, you can enjoy free entry to travel those three places.
