how transfer internally at nanjing highspeed railway station?

I have purchesed a ticket to shanghai from chongqing via the city. I have only 40 mins to transfer to next train. How could I do it without coming outside from the staion. I'm a foriegner and new to this setup.

It's not necessary for you to come outside the train station building. After getting off the train, you can walk to the special transfer channel and enter waiting lounge. Then have ticket checked and catch the train to Shanghai.
