PRC won’t recognize it at present unless you have it attested according to the following procedures.
You should first have your marriage certificate notarized by the local notary public, and then ask the county clerk (some states require that) to attest and then the secretary of state attests it. Afterwards, take the notarized marriage certificate to the embassy of PRC to have it authenticated. After those procedures, your marriage will be recognized by PRC.
