About:Chinese Embassy in Bahamas

Will I need to be in country to apply for visa

Hi, I'm a student in Shanghai and it is almost time for me to renew my student X type. Will I be able to send my documents and apply to the embassy in the Bahamas through a travel agency or will I have to personally go to the embassy?

Amy, you can try to renew X type without leaving China. I mean you can go to the local PSB to submit the relevant documents and try to renew it. If you fail to so this, you need to apply in your country, but you have to be in the country where you apply for the X type.
