About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

two layover in China

I am flying from San Francisco to shanghai (3 hrs layover) and from Shanghai to Kunming (23 hours layover) and from Kunming to Kolkota (India) with single itinerary. Which one I can Use 72 hour free visa or the 24 hour direct transit?

Rak, you can't use the 72 hour free transit because you stop in more than one cities. Your layover time is a little bit more than 24 hours, so it's hard to tell whether you can enjoy the 24 hour free transit. My advice is to contact the airline and see if you can enjoy it.
