Can I apply for my tourist visa in Tokyo? Which documents exactly I need.

Hello,
I am mexican and I will be travelling to Tokyo for holidays. After that I want to spend 2 weeks in China travelling too.

Carmina, you can apply for it in Tokyo if the area you live in belongs to the consular district of the embassy of PRC in Tokyo.
You should apply for a tourist L type and need to provide those documents containing the completed application form attached with a recently-taken bareheaded color photo, your valid entry permit to Japan, as well as accommodation booking record and hotel reservation.
When submitting the application, you’d better find an agency designated by the consulate general to do it for you because many people may go there to apply for it, you may need to wait for a long time.
