About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

10 year validity

good day! i was just a little bit confused about the limitation of stay in PRC, at first paragraph in the introduction it was stated that the stay is not limited, however at second paragraph , it says that the certificate is valid up to 10 years, so i guess in other words it can be considered as having a limitation of stay as well, and it needs to be renewed every 10 years.? any help pls?

Dear, what the first paragraph refers to is that if one holds the permanent residence permit, the stay duration after each entry is not limited. It means that once you enter, you can stay as long as you like.
AS for the second paragraph, it means the validity of the permanent residence permit. The validity is usually for 5 or 10 years. Of course, it needs to be renewed when it expires.
