About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

My mother is invited by her former employer to celebrate chinese new year with them.

My question is does she need a letter of invitation from her former employer to be shown in the immigration? And how many days will be permitted for a tourist visa from philippines. Thank You

Hi there! If your mother will stay in the host's house, she need to get this invitation letter as the proof of accommodation. Otherwise, the round-trip tickets and hotel booking records are required for applying the L type. It usually takes four working days to process the L type.

They sent invitation tru email stating my mother can stay with them for 1 month. If that so, she has to get a round trip ticket. Is it okey to stay 30 days in hongkong for a tourist entry permit?

Frances, in my opinion, it’s okay if she can get a 30-day tourist entry permit to HK.
