You needn't. But can you tell which city you will stop by? You know, you enjoy 72 hours free transit in certain cities. In these cities, you needn't apply for anything in advance and upon arrival. However, if you pass by other cities, you need to apply for the stay permit if you plan to leave the airport. It's a stamp on your passport and you can get it for free.

James, I think you will be required to apply for a temporary stay permit at the frontier inspection at the airport and it’s easy to get. Besides, it’s free of charge.
