Hey, it takes no longer than 15 working days to deal with the renewal. So you should do the renewal at least one month before it expires. You should bring required documents to local entry and exit management bureau to do the extension. You should provide your passport, application form, a recent six months passport photo, temporary accommodation registration form, your marriage certificate and your wife's ID card. Perhaps, they might require the invitation letter from your wife. You need to register at the police station within 24 hours after arrival and then you will get the accommodation form. If you stay at a hotel, please ask the hotel to provide it.
