About:China Visa

I have a single entry visa and will be entering and departing out of Shanghai

During my time in China am i free to travel to Beijing, Xian and Harbin then back to Shanghai?

Yes, you can visit other cities and then depart from Shanghai before your duration of your single entry one expires.
