do i need a visa for a trip from Shanghai to Hong Kong?

I am accompanying my husband on a trip. we will be in Shanghai for less than 48 hours where we will do sightseeing and then go on to Hong Kong for two days for additional sightseeing. My husband has an entry permit but I don't. Do I need one to go from Shanghai into Hong Kong?

Jerry, you don’t need one because American passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of no more than 90 days.
