About:Top 8 Reasons Why Your China Visa Gets Rejected

Passport less than 6 months valid

I have a valid residence permit / work visa for China, through June 2016, and I work remotely for a Chinese company but currently live elsewhere in Asia. I need to visit my office in Beijing next week for work, but my passport is now below 6 months validity (by 2 weeks). My passport is still valid until the beginning of July, and as I said my entry permit is valid. Will I have trouble entering PRC due to my passport falling below 6 months validity?

Kara, don’t worry. It won’t cause any problem. Only when you apply for an entry permit, the at least remaining 6-month validity of your passport is required. Because your residence permit is still valid, you can enter without trouble.
