About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does a layover count as a return flight?

Hi!

I am an American citizen and I am traveling to Seoul, then onwards to Beijing to catch a cheap return flight to New York, but my flight Beijing - New York has a layover in Seoul.

Would this work with the 72h Transit?

thank you
Leo

Leo, I'm afraid your route is not eligible for the free transit scheme. You can confirm this with your airline.
