About:China Visa

Stay in airport hotel with 24h transit visa.

I am from Philippines and I will have a 20h layover in Guangzhou on my way from Malaysia to the US and I understand that I am allowed a 24h transit permit.
But - as the layover is overnight, would I be allowed to check in at an airport hotel for the night?

Teresita, you are allowed to check in at an airport hotel for the night, but you need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport when getting off.
