document to state a person is alive and living in Australia

My mother is 78 years old and lives in both Australia and Macau, China. She is required to provide a document to the Macau government stating that she's alive and living in Melbourne. Would she be able to obtain a letter from the Chinese Consulate? If yes, what do I need to do next?

Janet, you can ask the local notary public to issue a certificate to stating that your mom is alive firstly. Then, have this certificate authenticated by the Australian Foreign Affairs and Trade Ministry. Finally, take these documents to the embassy for attestation.
