visit visa to hongkong from china pakistani

We will enter china thru shenzhen airport. I am from philippines and my bf is from pakistan. I dont need visa to go to hongkong and my question is does my bf needs to apply for tourist visa to hongkong from SZ. We will only be in hongkong for 5 days and then we are planning to go back to SZ and exit from there as well.

Hi, Hajra, your boyfriend needs to get the Visa for Hong Kong in advance of the trip.

Can we just apply at beijing instead because it will take another more than one month to apply hongkong visa from pakistan. And we are supposed to have this trip by february already.
