Is it a good time to visit taipei around july 2016?

I am planning to go to taipei around 22-25july 2016 for a 4 days tour. but i know that this is typhoon period . is it a good time to visit taipei with my family members.?
or shall i go during september?

Yes, you are right. June is typhoon season of the city, and you need to have a close attention to the weather forecast before you leave.

September is also in typhoon season, but it is a bit cooler, so which can also be taken into your consideration.
