About:Beijing Capital Airport T3

I'm flying from Dalian to Beijing and then making a connection to Bangkok on Air China.

Will I need to collect my baggage and recheck them during the connection, or will the bags be checked through to BKK?

Also, I have just under 3 hours. Will this be plenty of time for the connection at 9pm on a Saturday?

No, you don’t need to retrieve your luggage. The transfer procedure is like this: Flight Arrival & Transfer Procedures -- Inspection & Quarantine -- Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection -- Security Check -- Customs inspection -- Waiting & Boarding
And your time shall be enough for such a transfer. Don't worry!
